BELIEFS

We Believe

in the glorious existence of the Triune God...Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We Believe

 the Bible is the pure Word of God, a complete, infallible, and Divinely authoritative rule of faith and practice.

We Believe

that we were created directly by God in His image and for His purposes. We are not the product of evolution and chance.

We Believe

that all have sinned. From our natural condition, we are not able to understand the things of God, and will continue to rebel against God's rule.

We Believe

that God chose to save sinners. His eternal plan was carried out by the coming of Jesus Christ, who was fully God, but became fully man, through the Virgin Birth. Jesus' death on the cross was as the Lamb of God to make atonement for the sins of His people. When He rose from the dead, God made it clear that his death had paid the price of believers' sins, and that through Jesus alone we can be saved.

We Believe

that a sinner is justified by faith alone through Jesus' blood and righteousness. The Holy Spirit makes sinners alive, convicts of sin, and applies the work of Christ. Having been born anew, the Spirit continues to work in the believers, to make them holy and keep them to the end. Salvation is not by works we have done, but by His grace, and therefore God alone is glorified.

We Believe

that all people must give an answer to God for their belief or unbelief.

We Believe

that Jesus shall return and all people will be judged by Him. Because of this, and because of Jesus' command, the church is to proclaim the message of the Gospel to everyone.
